Finger Lakes Breweries

We spent a few years travelling the country before we opened Finger Lakes RV Resort and had the opportunity to check out so many different breweries along the way—but no where else offers the combination of great beers, beautiful sunsets, and kind people quite like the Finger Lakes!

About 5 minutes from the campground, The Grist Iron is a weekly visit for us—plenty of seating, dog friendly, and of course, good beers!  There’s always something new available in their Barrel Aged Series—or we really like their tried & true Maxximus Brown Ale.  Pulled Pork Nachos and a BBQ Bomber Pizza, maybe some live music—a great way to spend an evening!

New to the area in 2021, Solera Tap House is one of our favorite spots—so much so we’re original Mug Club members!  Connor & Matt have a constant rotation of 16 different local beers on tap along with signature cocktails and something delicious in the slushy machine (the peach dandy is a must-try!).  Have a pretzel, a dill pickle bacon grilled cheese, and a chicken spiedie while soaking up some sunshine in their dog-friendly back yard.

Just a few miles up the road from the RV Park, Lucky Hare Brewery is a local favorite. There’s a wide variety of beers on tap, plus wines & a specialty cocktail to choose from with plenty of outdoor, dog-friendly seating.  You’ll find Babe’s Burgers on the back deck—serving up great burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries, and even brunch on Sundays.

A couple of minutes from the campground, Scale House Brewery has some of the best pizza around!  We really like their Peanut Butter Stout, but there’s always something interesting in their experimental batches so be sure to ask about what they’re testing out.

Two Goats Brewing might have the best views of the lake from their deck. We love to meet up with friends here and kick back for a pint (or two!) and just soak up the sunshine. They have a great range of beers and some local wines as well as their signature sandwich, the beef-on-weck.

All of these great spots are minutes from the Resort, but be sure to venture over to Ithaca as well as the west side of Seneca Lake for many more great options–Liquid State, Climbing Bines, and Seneca Lake Brewing to name a few.

We hope to welcome you to Finger Lakes RV Resort, and all our area has to offer, soon!
